Despite having a rocky start, Cyberpunk 2077 went on to become one of the biggest launches last year, and with CDPR announcing the next gen patch for the game, it is safe to say that we are looking at the game finally making a road to its recovery and that certainly is a good thing, to say the least.
If you are someone who is just jumping into the game, it is safe to say that you would be overwhelmed by the sheer depth of the game and the number of options that you are going to get access to, and it will only complicate the situation more.
Ripperdocs are amazing in the game as they provide some excellent stuff that you can use, and in this guide, we are going to explore the best ripperdoc locations in Cyberpunk.
Best Ripperdoc Locations Cyberpunk
Now, thankfully, finding the right ripperdoc for your needs is not going to be complicated. Still, I am going to guide you on how you can do that with ease.
#1- Cassius Ryder (Northside, Watson)
Watson is one of the first areas that you are going to explore when you finally start the game. If you are looking for Cassius Ryder, finding this place is not at all difficult as this Ripperdoc is located in the Northside area of the Watson district in the Night City. You can actually open the map and find him with ease.
#2- Robert Rainwater (Kabuki, Watson)
Moving further, you are now looking for Robert Rainwater, who is also in Watson but in a slightly different area, so it is important to keep in mind.
You can find Robert Rainwater in the corner edge of the open market that is in Kabuki, Watson district. Again, thanks to the familiarity of this place, finding this ripperdoc is not going to be complicated.
#3- Charles Bucks (Kabuki, Watson)
Next up, is Charles Bucks, another one of the best ripperdocs in Cyberpunk 2077. Finding Charles is not complicated at all as you can start by heading over to the Northern Kabuki of the Watson district in the Night City, and once you are there, finding Bucks’ Clinic is going to be an easy thing.
#4- Victor Vector (Little China, Watson)
I believe it is almost impossible to overlook Victor Vector’s shop in the game. For those who don’t know, you can find him located behind Misty’s shop in Little China on the Western side of the Watson district.
Victor is one of the first ripperdocs you are going to interact with as well and has a special bond with V. So, finding him is not going to be that complicated.
#5- Instant Implants (Kabuki, Watson)
The last ripperdoc that you can find in the Watson district happens to be an unnamed doctor that is residing at Instant Implants.
You can find it in the Kabuki area of the Watson district of Night City, and considering how this is one of the early areas, going there is not complicated or difficult.
#6- Fingers Gerstatt (Japantown, Westbrook)
Finding Fingers Gerstatt is not at all difficult as you can go to the eastern side of Japan Town that is in the middle of Westbrook, and remember, this is one of the two locations of ripperdocs in this area.
Fingers’ shop can be found on the opposite side of large building that is Japan Town from the other unnamed ripperdoc. You will have to go down a long path through a Red Light District known as Jig Jig Street.
#7- Unnamed Ripperdoc (Japantown, Westbrook)
There are only two Ripperdocs that one can find in Westbrook, and the other one is also located in Japantown, Westbrook. This one is also in the middle of the area, but unlike Fingers, this one is unnamed.
You can easily find their shop that is located down some stairs off the side of the highway at a place that is on the right of a square called Cherry Blossom Marken. The ripperdoc will be within a building that says “Medical Assistance.”
#8- Nina Kraviz (Charter Hill, Westbrook)
Westbrook is home to three ripperdocs in total, with Nina Kraviz being the one I am talking about right now. The location of this Ripperdoc is not at all complicated, and you can find her near the luxury buildings that are located in the south of Westbrook.
For those who are looking for more convenience, you can actually find a fast travel point that is just west of her clinic, and it is really easy to just go to the clinic from that point.
#9- Unnamed Ripperdoc (Downtown, City Center)
This is another ripperdoc that does offer some really good upgrades. Finding this ripperdoc will require you to go on the far west of the City Center, Downtown.
Sadly, there is no fast travel point here, which means that you can either drive throughout the way or travel to the closest fast point and then make your way from there.
Thankfully, finding this ripperdoc is not at all complicated, so it would be all good to go in no time.
#10- Unnamed Ripperdoc (Wellsprings, Heywood)
If you are looking for one of the best Ripperdoc in the game, you can find him in the far west of Heywood in Wellsprings, Nightcity.
Now, going there is not at all complicated, but if you do want to go there, you can travel to the nearest fast travel points to the doc, get inside the building that has the logo marked on it and then look for the ripperdoc, and you are good to go.
#11- Unnamed Ripperdoc (Rocky Ridge, Badlands Outskirts)
This Ripperdoc can be found at the fast travel point of the Aldecaldos camp that is found in Rocky Ridge, Badland.
This is just outside the main city, and you will come across the location of this Ripperdoc during the main story in the game. Since the guy is right at the fast travel point, finding him is not going to be difficult at all.
#12- Unnamed Ripperdoc (West Wind Estate, Pacifica)
This ripperdoc in Cyberpunk 2077 is on the South-West from the middle of Pacifica in West Wind Estate.
The clinic can be found beside the road, and you can easily get there by either fast traveling or by walking a little bit to the clinic, and the best part is that it is not that difficult to find, either.
As compared to other areas in the game, Pacifica is one of the rundown areas, but if you are looking for some great equipment, this is where to get that.
#13- Octavio’s Clinic (Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo)
Now, Let’s move towards the last two ripperdocs that are located in Santo Domingo. The first one being Octavio’s Clinic, which can be found in the Rancho Coronado neighborhood of the district.
He is going to be found on the far southeast of the place, just below a large dam, so finding the clinic is not going to be that difficult.
#14- Unnamed Ripperdoc (Arroyo, Santo Domingo)
The last ripperdoc is an unnamed one once again, and this one can be found in the Arroyo neighborhood of the Santo Domingo district in the Night City.
For those wondering, his shop is located along the waterfront of the large river responsible for separating Santo Domingo from Heywood, and can be found under the highway overpass.
What Upgrades These Cyberpunk 2077 Ripperdoc Have To Offer
Now that we know about the location of these ripperdocs, the next step is to start looking at the upgrades these have to offer. Of course, you are in for a treat, so let’s get started.
Frontal Cortex
Frontal cortex upgrades are responsible for giving a passive boost to your critical hit damage.
Additionally, it also goes ahead and increases the overall chances of critical hit, as well as increases the damage that you can be dealing to a specific type of enemy. Frontal cortex upgrades are always nice to go for.
Ocular Implant
Another upgrade that does not need a lot of explanations, but if you are going for ocular implants, you are looking at something that can go ahead and allow you to scan your nearby areas or enemies to point out their weaknesses and find some hidden stuff that is within the vicinity as well, a convenient upgrade that everyone should have.
Circulatory System
Next up, we have circulatory system, and as the name suggests here, installing upgrades to these systems is only going to help you have increased health regeneration as well as stamina regeneration.
However, if you want to be on the offense, you can go ahead and install a micro generator that can shock your enemies.
Immune System
Immune system upgrades are generally excellent for all players and, honestly, should not be missed at all, and you should always be going for these whenever you are playing the game.
Nervous System
We are also looking at the upgrades to the nervous system, which goes ahead and installs a Reflex Tuner that can easily slow down time when you are detected or when your health goes below 25%.
The upgrade is also responsible for installing a Neofiber in your nervous system, which helps increasing the chances of evasion by 6%.
Integumentary System
For those who are a fan of head to head combat and not really taking the stealthy approach, going for integumentary system is a good way to go with because when you are getting things done like this, you will easily be able to get access to buffs to your armor and increased protection as well.
Skeleton
For those wondering, skeleton upgrades are great when you want an increase in your carrying capacity as well as an increase in the stamina. Unlocking this upgrade is excellent right at the start of the game.
Hands
Next up, we have hands. Upgrades to this body part will allow you to have smart weapons installed on your hands that are going to be a lot more beneficial in all gunfights.
These weapons will have the ability to lock one spot on the enemy, and that is the spot where all the bullets will be going. Users can also customize their hands with this upgrade.
Arms
Arms is one of the most common upgrades that you can find. You can modify your arms using the upgrades to increase physical damage, install a rocket launcher and even fit blades on your arms. Needless to say, arms are important parts that you should always focus on upgrading.
Legs
I don’t really think I need to explain what this upgrade does, but if you are still wondering, upgrading your legs will allow you to have stronger legs in terms of the gameplay and increase your running speed, as well as unlock the double jump feature for you which is really useful in many cases.
Operating System
The Operating System is the one area through which you can find some of the coolest mods that you can start using. You can easily get into the heads of your enemies using these mods.
For instance, you can hack your enemy’s weapons for some time, blind them, and even blow up their brains. If you want to have fun, this is a great place to get started.
Best Ripperdoc Upgrades in Cyberpunk 2077
Now that I am done discussing the upgrades that are being offered, let’s start looking at the best upgrades there are and not delay anything further.
Mantis Blades
Perhaps the best upgrade that one can ask for is going to be the pair of mantis blades that are lethal on your arms, and the point of these blades is stealth and concealment. It also allows you to unlock more abilities and elemental effects on it, too.
The cyberware can be found in several locations in the game, and you can even earn them for free on certain missions. If you are looking for an absolute must have upgrade, then going for mantis blades is more or less a no brainer.
Second Heart
Another excellent addition that you can go for is going to be second heart, and for those who don’t know, it is a circulatory system cyberware.
While BioMonitor is responsible for giving you your full health back after it falls to 15 percent, this upgrade is responsible for restoring the health to 100 percent once it falls to zero (for the legendary version)
I know this might seem like a useless upgrade to some people, especially closer to the endgame, but hey, if you are looking to always mess with enemies and want something that can help you survive, this is the one you go for.
Reinforced Tendons
One of the things about Cyberpunk 2077 that often gets overlooked is the mobility factor in the game.
However, it is important to remember that there is a lot of verticality in the game, and players manage to miss out a lot because of that. Reinforced tendons can solve that for you as it is an absolute must, to be honest.
It does not matter the build you are running, having this upgrade is great because added mobility is always fun to have, and the overall usability makes them very useful.
Kerenzikov
Moving further, we have the legendary Kerenzikov in the game, which is a lot more familiar than one might think.
For anyone who has played Fallout games, this nervous system implant is going to slow down the time when you are shooting, aiming, or blocking when sliding.
You can actually change how long the slowed time is going to be there based on the status of the implant, but if you like precise and deadly combat, this is your calling.
Monowire
If you are interested in some really nice melee combat that is equally damaging and fun, too. Then going for Monowire upgrade is always the right thing to do.
As the name suggests, you are looking at a wire that you can perform heavy and light attacks with, and as far as the functionality is concerned, you can find various versions too and use it to your heart’s content without running into a lot of issues. Finding this upgrade is easy, so you are all good to go.
Gorilla Arms
As the name indicates, you are looking at another cyberware that you can easily get your hands on.
For those wondering, these implants are there when you are looking to drastically increase the strength of your arms and the damage that is dealt.
You will not be regretting these upgrades if you are looking for an increased damage, and it works really well, too.
Shock-N-Awe
Another one of my favorite upgrades that you can get in Cyberpunk 2077. This upgrade is an immune system cyberware, and getting this is going to provide you with a 10% chance of releasing an electroshock blast that can deal damage to all nearby enemies. The damage is going to be equal to 20% of an enemy’s max health.
I do understand that it is one of the more affordable pieces of upgrades, but when you do get it in the game, you can get some assistance, especially early on in the game when you need it the most.
Synaptic Signal Optimizer
You are now looking at a skeleton cyberware that is very effective and straightforward in the way it works, to be honest. Thankfully, it is also very useful, so you are in the right to use it.
For those wondering what this does, it is simple. With the legendary version, you can go ahead and increase the player’s health by 60%, and yes, in Cyberpunk, having that on your side is certainly a great thing.
Militech ‘Falcon’ Sandevistan
When you are looking for operating system cyberware, it would be stupid to look past the Militech ‘Falcon’ Sandevistan as it is one of the most advanced variations available in the market.
If you are looking to have an absolutely amazing experience in the game, then going for this upgrade is more or less a no brainer.
Getting this upgrade will slow time by 30% for 18 seconds, and it will also increase any damage dealt by 15%. It will also increase the critical chance by 20%.
Projectile Launch System
As the name suggests, if you are in the market for something that will turn V’s arms into a small rocket launcher, then this is the one that you need to go for.
The legendary version of this cyberware is one of the most powerful offerings that you can go for, and on top of that, it is also really handy when you are getting overwhelmed or outnumbered. It allows your character to launch powerful projectiles and deal a decent amount of damage.
Biodyne Berserk MK 4
The Berserk implants in the game are some of the best and if you genuinely are looking for something that manages to do some real good in the game, then going for Biodyne Berserk MK4 is the right thing to do.
This is the most upgraded version, and these implants are known for having an improved ranged compact as well as better defense algorithms if you are looking to get into that.
For those wondering, this upgrade can reduce weapon recoil by 25%, increase melee damage by 5%, and armor and resistance by 5%.
BioMonitor
If you are someone who loves getting into encounters and fights all the time, then going for BioMonitor is another excellent upgrade that you should start looking for early on in the game.
For those wondering, finding the legendary variation of this upgrade will allow you to have a second fighting chance as it fully restores your health once it drops down to just 15%. However, it is important to know that you can only use it once every 120 seconds.
Heal-On-Kill
It is safe to say that when you are talking about combat and other encounters in the game, the game is a lot more forgiving than one might think.
Heal on Kill is one of the things that you have to understand is very useful for players who are going to have some issues with the gunplay of the game.
The heal on kill mod will restore 10% of your total heal upon killing an enemy. Remember that it would be better to find the legendary variation of the mod of the upgrade to get the best experience.
Camillo RAM Manager
Another great upgrade that I’m going to suggest to everyone is the Camillo RAM Manager. It is a Frontal Cortex Cyberware, and the epic version is the best one.
Epic version can instantly restore 20% of the RAM when it drops to two units, and the legendary variation goes as high as 30%. Finding this is not at all difficult, so you will be good to go once you have your eyes on it.
Visual Cortex Support
If you have built your character in a way that you are more focusing on the critical damage, then it is best to have a good cyberware with you that further helps you increase the critical damage.
A great option can be considered as the Visual Cortex Support that is available in four types in total and, thankfully, happens to be an easy to find cyberware.
However, as with any other upgrade, finding the legendary version is what I would suggest as it can increase the critical damage by 45%, and you have something really amazing.
Subdermal Armor
While I do love the clothing options in the game, some of them are absolutely ridiculous, and the only reason to use them is, of course, the higher armor rating.
Subdermal armor is one of the upgrades that can solve that by giving you a boost in the armor and allowing you to use whatever piece of equipment you want without having to worry about looking like a clown.
Finding this upgrade is not at all difficult, and you can easily get started with and enjoy your time with it as it is fun to use, as well.
Kiroshi Optics MK.3
For those wondering, Kiroshi Optics is the first piece of cyberware that V gets installed in the game, and it happens at the start.
Still, the one thing that many people are not aware of is that better options become available as the game progresses, with the Kiroshi Optics MK3 being one of the best versions of the game.
The optics not only make V better at scanning, but they also have additional slots that will allow you to customize them and make the cyberware even better and more powerful for you to use.
Dynalar Sandevistan MK.4
We are getting closer to the end of the best upgrades in the game, and the Dynalar Sandevistan MK4 is another excellent mod that you can go for.
This is an operating system made especially for people who are looking to go for a stealthy approach in the game.
For those wondering what it does, you are getting an upgrade that can allow you to slow down time by 75% for 16 seconds, additionally, it is also responsible for increasing damage dealt by 15% during the upgrade is active, and it also increases the critical chance by 15%.
Smart Link
The last one that we have is basically for your hands, an upgrade that does not need an introduction, but if you are wondering, this lets you use smart weapons, and well, it is one of the better offerings if you are looking to play with that style.
Final Verdict
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most fun games, and not just that, it allows you to customize your character the way you want to go ahead with and if you are looking for a way that would allow you to truly become a formidable force in the game, then finding the best ripperdoc locations and getting the best upgrades is the way to go.
