I have not been a fan of snipers for a long time which I can attribute to my impatient nature, and I prefer more of a gun-blazing action pack adventure which may or may not kill me.
But one day, when I was not feeling it, I decided to try out a sniper rifle and play like that sniper in saving Private Ryan.
I immediately fell in love with this, especially because some of the most powerful weapons are sniper rifles, allowing you to pick off your enemies at considerably long distances.
Therefore, I tried out different sniper rifles in Modern Warfare 2 to make them the best versions of themselves.

The SP-X 80 is an excellent Sniper Rifle that will keep you well away from the action on the ground while you go on about dispatching your enemies from a safe distance. This weapon has a lot of versatility and can aim ideally.
However, I have some gripes with it, so I will use this Loadout to iron out the kinks I have experienced while using this weapon.

The SP-X 80 has some problems with the recoil, which I feel while I try to pull long-range shots. To mitigate this, I have chosen the Max DMR Precision as the stock for this weapon.
It boosts the weapon’s stability while simultaneously making it lighter, which buffs up the sprint speed of your character.
I have gone with the FSS ST87 Bolt for quick rebolting, which is an excellent addition to the SP-X 80. Snipers are notoriously slow regarding the fire rate and this bolt iron out this issue. The increased rate of fire does introduce some recoil into the mix.
To get rid of the newly introduced recoil, I have chosen the Schlager Match Grip as my next attachment as the rear grip. This somewhat removes this recoil and makes the riddle much more stable.
Furthermore, the Laser I have chosen here, namely the FSS OLE-V, also increases the aim stability of the SP-X 80.
Finally, the barrel I have chosen for this fantastic sniper is the 18.5″ Bryson LR Factory which is excellent if you use the weapon as intended. It will eliminate the aim time and allow you to pick your enemies off from long ranges.
Best SP-X 80 Loadout: Perks And Equipment
The SP-X 80 is a weapon intended to be used at extremely long ranges. However, you may find yourself right in the middle of the action at close quarters, where your secondary weapon, perks, and equipment will have your back. So let us now discuss some of those that best suit the SP-X 80.

For the secondary weapon, I have chosen the Lachmann Sub MP5. this is a semi-automatic machine gun that is an absolute beast at close ranges.
If you find yourself in a sticky situation, you will thank me when you have the Lachmann sub equipped, as this weapon will help you get out of these situations.
Overkill is my pick for the base perk 1, as this will allow you to equip an extra primary weapon in your Loadout.
Yes, a sniper is a powerful weapon; however, an SMG or an assault rifle to supplement will make it a lot easier for you to dominate your adversaries.
Extra tactical is my pick for the base perk 2, as this will allow you to have extra tactical equipment in your arsenal.
For the Base Perk, I have gone with Focus, a perk made for snipers. This perk allows you to reduce your flinching, making your aim more accurate.
High Alert is another sniper-specific perk I have chosen as the ultimate perk, and this will let you know whenever someone has spotted you away from your field of view.
For the Tactical equipment, I have chosen Spotter Scope, as this will allow you to spot and mark your adversaries from a distance and make them easy prey for you to dispatch.
Proximity Mine is my pick for the Lethal equipment, as it can blow up your enemies once they are in range.
Finally, as my Field Upgrade, I have gone with Deployable Cover, which allows you to deploy portable armor whenever needed.

How To Unlock SP-X 80 In Modern Warfare 2
You will need to pull up your socks before you can start your journey to unlocking the SP-X 80, as this will take a while. First, you will reach military rank 7, which will unlock the SP-R 208, which will now be your primary weapon.
Play the SP-R 208 until it reaches weapon level 13 to unlock the SA-B 50. Use the SA-B 50 until it reaches level 16 to unlock the LA-B 330. Equip it as your primary until it reaches level 17 to unlock the SP-X 80.
It will take a long time to get an idea of whether this weapon is worth it; try it out using a private match against bots, as all weapons and their respective attachments are available to try out there.
