Best Lachmann-556 Loadout In Modern Warfare 2

Best Lachmann-556 Loadout Modern Warfare 2 Cover

The latest GunSmith 2.0 added in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has opened up the ability to play with the weapons at our disposal, allowing us to create a good weapon even out of the worst guns in the game.

Since release, I have had a lot of fun with this and have made many Loadouts for various weapons.

My latest experiments were with the Lachmann-556, which I happened to unlock as my character reached level 16 in multiplayer.

I ignored this gun as I wouldn’t say I liked its utility first, primarily due to its higher weight than the SMG. However, on a whim, I fired up a private match against bots and tried to create a loadout.

I was surprised at how much usable this gun became with the correct Loadout, and that is what I am going to be helping you with as here is the best Lachmann-556 loadout in modern warfare 2.

Best Lachmann-556 Loadout Modern Warfare 2

The Lachmann-556 is a weapon suited more to long-range combat, so the attachments I will be using are catered explicitly to long-range.

Best Class Setup of Lachmann 556 in Modern Warfare 2

I will reduce some of the weight on the gun while keeping the recoil manageable to improve stability and aim.

ReceiverLachmann-556
BarrelLachmann Nova
StockLachmann S76 Factory Stock
MuzzleKomodo Heavy
Rear GripLMK64 Grip
OpticCronen Mini Red Dot

Starting with the barrel of the Lachmann 556, I have chosen the Lachmann Nova. This attachment will reduce the weapon’s recoil while increasing the gun’s bullet velocity and range. The weapon also gets a buff in control, thanks to this attachment.

With the gun’s weight in mind, I have given the 556, the Lachmann S76 Factory Stock, which will help it reduce its weight, thereby granting an increase in the player’s sprint speed.

Your aim is also going to get better thanks to this stock. The Komodo Heavy is my choice for the Muzzle, which will control the gun’s recoil and make it more stable.

The LMK64 Grip is my choice for the rear Grip as it makes the gun somewhat better in the ergonomics department and lighter.

Finally, as my last attachment, the Cronen Mini Red Dot makes this weapon more accurate thanks to the precise dot viewfinder.

You will be able to target your enemies more accurately, which will result in them being dispatched from a long range.

Best Lachmann-556 Loadout: Perks And Equipment

The Loadout I have given you with the Lachmann-556 will ensure you can get the most out of this assault rifle.

The weapon will now be a force to be reckoned with, and you will have a lot of fun dominating your enemies. However, the right mix of perks and equipment is also necessary.

So here are some of my recommendations regarding these.

Secondary WeaponSignal 50
Base Perk 1Strong ARM
Base Perk 2Overkill
Bonus PerkSpotter
Ultimate PerkSurvivor
TacticalSpotter Scope
LethalThrowing Knife
Field UpgradeSmoke Airdrop

First off, I am going to be discussing the secondary weapon. As the Lachmann-556 is a long-range weapon, it will do you a lot of favor if you carry a sniper rifle as your secondary weapon.

The Signal 50 is my pick as the secondary weapon here as it is a non-sense sniper rifle and can dispatch your enemies with one shot.

Strong Arm is my pick for the base perk 1, which complements the Lachmann-556 long-range capabilities very well. This is going to allow you to throw equipment farther than it is possible by default.

Overkill is my contender for the base perk 2, enabling you to carry around the Signal 50 sniper rifle the one-shot kill demon.

Extra Tactical is my contender for the base perk 2, enabling you to carry around an additional piece of equipment to throw toward your enemies.

As the Bonus Perk, I have gone with Spotter, allowing you to see the equipment, kill streaks, and upgrade your enemies through walls. Furthermore, you will also gain the ability to hack your enemies’ throwables.

Finally, as the Ultimate Perk, I have gone with Survivor, which will allow you to revive yourself at least once before finally being dispatched by an enemy.

As the Tactical equipment, Spotter Scope is an obvious choice as the Lachmann-556 long-range utility will allow you to mark and spot your enemies from a distance.

Throwing Knife is my pick for Lethal equipment as this will enable you to dispatch an enemy when they come across you at close ranges.

Finally, as the Field Upgrade, I have chosen the Smoke Airdrop, which will allow you to escape by calling in a drone to smoke out wherever you target it.

How To Unlock Lachmann-556 In Modern Warfare 2

The Lachmann-556 is a good assault rifle, and I suggest you make it a part of your weapon. The good news is that you do not need to do much if you want to unlock this weapon and only need to play the game until you reach military rank 16.

Once you have reached that level, you will unlock the Lachmann and Meer platform, with the first weapon being the Lachmann-556.

However, the Loadout I gave you is not unlocked from the get-go, and you need to unlock all the separate attachments.

To try out my Loadout or create a loadout yourself, open up a private match and play against bots which will allow you to do so as all the weapons and are going to be unlocked here from the get-go.

Final Verdict:

I discounted the Lachmann-556 as a mediocre weapon with nothing to write home about; however, after trying this weapon out for some time, I have deduced that it has a lot of power hidden in it if we give it the perfect loadout.

So try my Loadout of the Lachmann-556 in a private match and see how much this weapon is handy at long ranges.
