If you are up against dragon-type Pokemon, there are certain things that can be used against them very effectively to counter them.
First off, If you have a Fairy Type Pokemon in your arsenal, throw it into the battlefield and watch as it gets the dragon type on its knees.
Fairy Types have resisted the dragon-type attacks very well; hence your first choice should always be fairy Pokemon. You can also use a Steel type as they have very high resistance to dragon-type attacks.
Apart from that, if you do not have a fairy-type Pokemon in your arsenal, the next best thing would be to use an Ice type which is known to do massive damage towards them.
However, if you do not have any of them, you can put your own Dragon type as a last resort, as they can deal a lot of damage to their own type.
