The world of Pokemon is a very interesting place full of various creatures. These creatures have different abilities derived from various natural and unnatural elemental natures.
These Pokemons have their strengths and weaknesses, which can be used to fight other Pokemon roaming around the world.
I have done a lot of research learning about these Pokemon and have finally come to a place where I understand each of the eighteen types of Pokemon, so I have started writing about all of these Pokemon types with their strengths and weaknesses.
So in this article, I will give you a rundown about Fighting Type Weaknesses and everything else you need to know about them. So without further ado, let us get right into the topic.
What Is A Fighting Type Pokemon?
Fighting Type Pokemon are the only Pokemon in the series that derive their strength from their physical attributes.
These Pokemon can be identified by their looks, which resemble a martial artists and often strike a pose when thrown into battle. They are very muscular and usually rely on their fighting capability to battle their rival Pokemon.
Fighting-type Pokemon are very effective against five other types of Pokemon. These are some of the few that can damage normal Pokemon highly. Fighting Types have the highest physical stats in the games.
Best Fighting Type Pokemon Weaknesses
If you find yourself against a fighting type Pokemon, then there are a few Pokemon that can help you get victory on them. These Pokemon are “Flying Type”, “Psychic Type”, and “Fairy Type” Pokemon.
As fighting-type Pokemons are physical, they cannot get their hands on the flying Pokemons who easily dodge their attacks.
With this capability, flying types can deal effective damage to fighting types while taking minimal damage in return.
The psychic type is also an effective Pokemon against the fighting type. Psychic types can manipulate things in their surroundings, which can easily hit a fighting-type Pokemon.
Finally, fairy types can use their magical abilities to very easily get the upper hand on a fighting-type Pokemon.
You should also refrain from using your fighting type Pokemon against poison type and bug type as well because they are all immune to its attacks. Fighting types also have no effect on Ghost Types.
