Anyone who has known me from my childhood would tell you that I was a nerd who spent most of his time in front of a computer screen playing video games. I used to attend comic cons and go to all sorts of fan meets and greets.
But as I grew up, I got busy with my studies, work, and other adult life stuff. As a result, the nerd in me was forced into hibernation and did not get to play a lot of games.
Every day the nerd in me begged me to visit the gaming store and pick up a game for the weekend. But for some reason, I kept on delaying it until last week, when I finally decided to listen to my inner self and walked into a gaming store.
I reached home and fired up my gaming console, and started playing. But I was kind of disappointed as I didn’t really enjoy the games that I had bought. Then I started looking for games, and that is when I came across Elden Ring, and this is exactly the game I needed.
The game packed exactly the right amount of thrill, action, and adventure. Although I was quite rusty, and it took me a while to get the hang of the game, but once I did, I really enjoyed playing it.
There were some points during the game when I had no idea about what to do. Luckily I had a friend over who had played this game earlier and was able to help me out with it.
I enjoyed playing the game so much that I ended up staying up all night playing and decided to ditch work to play more.
While playing, I realized that there are many other people like me out there who get back to gaming after a long break and have a hard time getting the hang of it. So today, I decided to write a guide to help out all of such people.
So stay with me till the end as we explore some amazing details about my new favorite game.
How To Get To Church Of Inhibition In The Elden Ring?
Hyetta’s Elden Ring’s quest is an extensive experience, but if you’re a villain who wishes for the “worst” of the game’s endings, you’ll have to finish it.
The Frenzied Flame ending is the one in question, and while you might feel a little bad for doing it , it transports you to a very unsettling part of The Lands Between.
Here is all the information you need to finish Hyetta’s quest.
How to begin Elden Ring’s Hyetta’s quest
After you complete Irina’s mission on the Weeping Peninsula, which entails delivering Irina’s letter to Edgar, taking down the boss of Castle Morne (Leonine the Misbegotten), speaking with Edgar once more, and watch his tragic reunion with Irina, Hyetta’s mission starts.
Once there, interact with the bodies inside by going to the Revenger’s Shack in western Liurnia, west of Rose Church. Edgar makes an appearance as Edgar the Revenger, an invading NPC. Get a Shabriri Grape by defeating him in battle.
Visit the Lake Facing Cliffs Site of Grace, which is located north of Stormveil Castle, and talk to the woman there. She presented herself as Hyetta, a wanderer looking for Shabriri Grapes as well as light. Give me yours.
The Grape can be found on a corpse at the far end of the chamber if you enter Stormveil Castle from the north entrance and don’t already have it.
All Hyetta locations In Elden Ring
Hyetta must be located three more times. The Purified Ruins, southwest of the Liurnia Highway North Site of Grace, are where she is when she returns. Examine the long structure that is away from the barracks and close to the cliff’s edge.
To find your final Shabriri Grape and a talisman, return to the barracks, vanquish the soldiers, and then take the stairs down.
Grace at the Gate Town Bridge is Hyetta’s third location. When you arrive there and turn right, you will see her standing close to the rocks. Give her the last of Shabriri Grape and inform her of their horrifying nature.
When there is no more conversation, fast-travel back to the original location and resume speaking with her. She will thank you for your assistance and say she has a new task.
Your next stop is Bellum Church, but Hyetta wants a Fingerprint Grape this time. Bellum Church is northeast of the Academy at Raya Lucaria. For that, you must go to the Church of Inhibition.
How to get to Elden Ring’s Church of Inhibition
To avoid most enemies, head northeast from Bellum Church and touch the eastern cliffs. Near the Grand Dectus Lift, the cliffs gradually give way to a hill, but there is a new threat in this areathe tower of the Frenzied Flame (and some giant, fire-possessed rats, but you can ignore them).
The enormous flame beacon that periodically emanates from the Frenzied Flame tower and fills your madness meter and depletes your health and FP if you are exposed.
When possible, hide behind rocks while replenishing your health with the Flask of Crimson Tears. If the madness meter reaches 100%, you’ll lose a significant amount of health and probably pass away.
Keep moving to the left of the tower rather than sprinting up the hill. In Frenzied Flame Village, there is a Spiritwind that launches you behind the tower, largely out of the reach of the flames.
Deal with the adversaries there, then ascend the ridge at the northernmost point of the village. As you move closer to the church, you’ll need to time your dashes to reduce the amount of time you spend near the flame.
Leave Festering Finger Alone Vyke enters the church quickly. In case you lose the battle, you can respawn here, by activating the Site of Grace. When defeated, Vyke discards the Fingerprint Grape. Give that to Hyetta and return to Bellum Church.
Hyetta and the End of the Lord of Frenzied Flame
Although becoming a Finger Maiden is Hyetta’s deepest desire, she ends up working for the Three Fingers.
After that, you can locate her outside of the location where you receive the Frenzied Flame at the base of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds beneath Leyndell. Before interacting with the Three Fingers, speak with her and get dressed.
Hyetta steps in to serve as your guiding Maiden after Melina leaves you because you accepted the flame. The Frenzied Flame Seal, which makes Frenzied Flame Incantations stronger, will be given to you.
However, it doesn’t seem to matter whether you complete Hyetta’s quest or not whether you get the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending.
If you accept the flame, you are locked into the Frenzied Flame ending until you finish Millicent’s quest, defeat Malenia, and get Miquella’s Needle and use it.
How to Avoid Madness near the Church of Inhibition
When you are outside and in the tower’s line of sight, you experience the Madness effect. The status effect, however, continues to fade away if you are hidden by a rock or cannot see the tower.
There will be some rocks close to the Tower, which you can hide behind to wait for the Madness status effect to pass.
Additionally, you have the option of using Clarifying Boluses to cancel the effect and armor sets like the Mushroom Armor Set, which raises your FOCUS stat, to prevent the effect from spreading suddenly.
As soon as you are close to the tower, ascend to its summit and defeat the six enemies there. Now that the Madness effect won’t be able to spread, you can easily head in the direction of the Church of Inhibition.
I hope that today’s blog proves to be beneficial to you all. I have tried to cover most of the points. Like I told you earlier, I haven’t been playing games for a very long time, so there might be some details that I might have missed out on, but I have tried to cover as much as I can.
Before I end this blog, I would like to give a recap of today’s entire blog on how to get the church of inhibition in the Elden Ring.
Set out in the direction of the north from the Academy of Raya Lucaria’s east gate. Once you arrive at the Grand Lift of Dectus, ride past all the adversaries and take a break at the Site of Grace.
The small tower with the flame above it can be seen as you travel east from the Grand Lift of Dectus by ascending a hill. If you are in the line of sight of the flame as it grows, you will begin to experience Madness build-up, so either run away or hide.
The Frenzied Flame Village can be found past the tower, and there is a small slope leading up at the back of the village.
To reach the Church of Inhibition, ride north and up the slope. Vyke, armed with a spear and several spells that cause Madness, will attack you as you get close to the Church.
